Unknowingly Geek

Well. I’ve been keeping an eye on the world cup these past few days. i have coverage running on my secondary monitor throughout my work day, though most of the time it is covered up with some task I’m performing until i hear a great deal of action going on. seemed pretty normal to me. i mean the world cup, whats geeky about that

Well apparently watching it though telnet was the geeky part… Video feeds are bandwidth intensive therefor laggy, so i found a site that was converting the video into ASCII and running an open telnet server. Looks ok, i can follow the action and keep updated. here’s the link to the server
