Post-Meat
i cant express how excited i am to try lab grown meat. it sounds odd i know, but being able to grow meat in a lab for human consumption is an amazing breakthrough! both scientifically and socially. if i were a vegetarian id be freaking psyched right now, that is if your a vegetarian for moral reasons.
my understanding is that it is currently cheaper to raise animals for their mean than it is to grow the good stuff in a lab, but that is quickly changing.
For the record, cultured meat tastes just like regular meat — it’s tissue-engineered muscle, made of exactly the same biological ingredients as meat from dead animals. It can also be a lot less fatty. Texture is one of the remaining issues, which is why proponents of cultured meat suggest it will first come to market as chicken nuggets and ground meat.

Theres alot of hippy shit backing this movement, like how it’ll reduce green house gases, save animals from being “murdered”, etc etc. but seriously, cultured meat, fucking awesome. no more mad cow bs, no more bitching and moaning. I’m psyched.
