How to get out of a sprint contract!

i just got off the phone with sprint moments ago to get out of my contract without paying an early terminantion fee. after reading a thing on the consumerist about someone else jumping ship form sprint i decided to do the same. what you hafto do when you call sprint is constantly refrence their contract change.

Administrative Charge
Effective Jan. 1, 2009, the Administrative
Charge will increase to $0.99 per line. For
details on surcharges, please see Sprint Terms
& Conditions or visit sprint.com/taxesandfees

Constantly is the key word there. try not to tell them anything about any other reasons. even the slightest hint that your dissatasfird with their service or anythign will lead to wasted hours with support reps. stay on focus that the admin fee is a violation of the contract, and that this was sprints choice to betrey the consumer trust, not yours. every time you hit a wall with them ask to be escilated. and if at any time they are unaware of the fee and refuse to not charge you, tell them that they are nolonger qualified to handel the case and ask to speak to thei manager. they willnot transfer you to their manager (most likley) but will become ALOT more compliant. :) google phone is in sight and i left sprint with no fees!!!

Congrats on getting out of Sprint’s death grip. Can you post a link to the consumerist about others jumping ship? I would like to get out as well, but I would like to find out a little more information and other people’s experience before I get going. Thanks.
