Ive become horribly addicted to Ayn Rand’s books since i finished atlas shrugged (the second time). I just finished Anthem last night and felt it necessary to share this with my 3-4 readers.

This book and this excerpt appeal to me for many reasons, both because i am an atheist, and this excerpt highlights my feelings of the word god. being the individual, moreover individuality. the second way this book appealed to me is how applicable it is. we live in a nation where the WE rule the I. the fools control the wise by fucking up all attempts at further research, the weak rule the strong with shameless political tactics, and the corrupt command the honest with deception and unearned power. we are urged and even forced to give our earnings and livleyhood to others who cannot or do not earn the same. “Spread the Wealth Around” is the new mantra of seemingly more than half of Americans today. this is the most sickening and disturbing thing that i can imagine. of all places, this country fought these ideas, we despised the politics and the nations that stood for these ideas, we accused others of having these ideas much as Salem inhabitants did during the witch trials. we used to call them “Commies” “Reds” soon we will call them majority, leader, and possibly president… fuck that!
After that tangent, i suggest you read anthem, for that matter atlas shrugged if you have the time. later.

im a Libertarian but man, my posts are seeming more and more liberal every day. i suppose it doesn’t matter what your political affiliation is though, Ann Counter is still a bitch.

Since i began paying more attention to how our economy works ive been growing more and more concerned about Americas economic well being. it seems with every new chunk of our situation i learn about i cant find any way that it can be sustainable. i may be becoming pessimistic, but fuck we need to get our shit the fuck together!

If your a regular reader youll know who i am voting for. Ron Paul is more or less the perfect candidate for me. the second, Barack Obama. feel free to bitch and moan about his speeches all you want. i’d love to debate the validity of his candidacy with you.
I’m a bit of a masochist so im watching FOX “news” at the moment, that douche bag Hannity is prancing around the city asking select people what obama has accomplished, trying (i assume) to highlight the lack of substance in his campaign rhetoric. but if these fools did a moments research into what he has actuially gotten pushed though the senate they would be worshiping at obamas feet (is they hold republican values). now i love ron paul, and he is by far “the man”. but keep an open mind. heres a list of some things i looked up that he helped accomplish as a response to this 1/2 assed polling

• In 2005, he co-sponsored the “Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act”
• Supported the “Secure Fence Act”
• Introduced the “Coburn-Obama Transparency Act” )which is one of the primary reasons hes my second choice, if by a long shot)

And thats just the 109′th congress. so try to read up on someone before trashing them. even if they are very socialist, and you don’t agree with alot of what they say. Figure out who it is you don’t agree with. if your not going to vote obama don’t do so because his middle name is “Husain” do it because you don’t support socialized medicine, or you don’t want the government to be transparent and accountable. either way… vote Ron Paul Texas primaries are tomorrow, if you agree with me, get out to vote. if not feel free to stay home.

Oh i almost forgot.. FUCK YOU FRANK!

they make me sad. im happy Ron Paul is kicking the shit out of giuliani, but sad that hes not doing well overall. i think i will move to any state that votes ron paul as the republican primary. i will call that state America, all other states will be dead to me.

im currently in a hotel in clearlake, drinking scotch and watching the primaries on cnn. not a good combination, lol. if i hear them call it “blagging” one more time… yup there it goes, i am now insane. well im going to continue punishing myself with a combination of CNN and FOX. night all

Im loving my new place! im having a great morning, and its been punctuated by seeing Ron Paul on CNN this morning! finally some actual attention to the next president!

Newsweek is hi-lar-ious, they posted a great set of 4 videos of their interviews with Ron Paul. they asked hard hitting relevant questions (thank god) ranging from IRS, Civil Disobediance, Gun control, Iran, and his competition. these questions posed and phrased it seems to trap him, or stump him…. FAIL

This may nto seem to be a good thing atall but look at hus sharp increase as the election comes closer, Ron Paul support is growing, i wouldn’t be surprised if we pulled this off and helped free America! These numbers are amazing if you look at how many polls he wasn’t in!!!

This was a blind poll in which candates views and stances were expressed without putting a name to them, guss who came out ontop!! “32.8 per cent chose the description matching Ron Paul” its not that people don’t agree with Ron Paul, just that they dont know any better.

32.8 per cent chose the description matching Ron Paul, while just 18.6 percent chose the description matching Rudy Giuliani. Just 12.6 per cent went for Fred Thompson’s description while 15.1 per cent went for Mitt Romney.

The results clearly illustrate that the country is crying out for Ron Paul, which is why the establishment have launched a PR offensive to marginalize him in order to suppress the Congressman’s name recognition.

The sample used for the poll had mainly never or rarely used websites popular with Ron Paul supporters, such as You Tube, MySpace and Facebook, showing that if Internet users who don’t use land lines were more fairly represented, the numbers would be even more in favor of the Congressman.

In another poll question, the survey found that the majority of Americans are more likely to vote for a candidate who wants to begin an immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq.

Over 49% said they were more likely to vote for a candidate who would begin immediate withdrawal, compared to just under 41% who said they would vote for staying the course and around 10% who were not sure.

Zogby released the numbers to us this morning and have indicated that due to the level of interest in the poll, they will be issuing a press release tomorrow.
